"Scaffold" Photo Credit: Rachel Katz
Scaffolding is a model of teaching that breaks down learning into bite-size chunks to make it easier for students to process information. The objective is to offer just the right amount of direction at the appropriate time. Scaffolding is about modeling how to solve a problem, and then taking a step back to allow the student to interpret the learning. We can all use a little scaffolding these days. This image of a heavily rooted, exposed tree with infinite layers of twisted branches is a powerful metaphor for how the coaching relationship works. In partnership, we will “dance in the moment”, exploring the many branches of your life until we get down to the roots. We will notice what is truly present here in this moment. Ultimately, we will create the resonant energy that will lead to your personal transformation. As your coach, I will scaffold and guide you through the twists and turns. Together, we will uncover your limitless potential and what you truly want in this one precious life.  Are you ready?

TESTIMONIALS

“When I started working with Rachel I was standing right at the edge
of creating my dream career and lifestyle, dipping my toe in and out,
back and forth.  I was not confident enough to dive in.   Rachel asked
me a series of questions about myself, all very easy for me to answer
and with great passion .  What I didn’t know was that those answers would
serve as a map for charting my course.  Rachel told me that the voice I was
speaking with was my inner leader and we would be leaning into that voice
as we go.  Well, we did ,and each time I was hesitant or doubtful, Rachel
stayed close enough to hear the voice of the saboteur, the anti-leader and
remind me of who was in control. Rachel has become a compass for me.
She is confident, has my best interests at heart and is holding the floor
steady when I want to turn back.  She makes me responsible for hearing the
call and taking each step forward. If you are ready to make a change in your life,
Rachel will not only ‘have your back’ but will also help you guide your own
path forward.  I’m grateful to call Rachel my coach.”

-Corporate Executive in transition of career

Rachel’s genius is you feel like you are speaking to a friend and yet she
helped me construct a solid action orientated plan. In little less than a week,
I had knocked off three of my five new goals. I am doing things I never knew I still
had left in me. I don’t know if I would have had the courage had Rachel not
encouraged me to step up and be authentic.

-Mother of teen exploring going back to work

"In times of stress, the best thing we can do for each other is to listen with
our ears and our hearts and to be assured that our questions are just as important
as our answers. " This quote perfectly sums up my experience being coached by Rachel Katz.
She is always listening with her ears and heart and asks the key questions to help guide
me to the answers I need to find inside of myself
